Join the Lee Richardson Zoo this Saturday, April 19th for the wildest egg hunt in town! Throughout the day keepers will be giving the animals “eggs” of all shapes and sizes filled with special treats. Animals will receive hard boiled eggs, gelatin eggs and papier mache eggs. Papier mache eggs were created by Lee Richardson Zoo volunteers and decorated by the students of Florence Wilson Elementary.
Visit the zoo to watch the animals find the surprises hidden in their exhibits. Guess how many eggs the animals receive for a chance to win a REAL ostrich egg. Guesses can be entered in the Safari Shoppe located near the Zoo’s entrance arches. The hunt is on all day! Zoo hours are 8:00AM to 5:00PM.
