Donate items from the list below and make a big difference in the lives of the animals we care for every day!

Most donation drop offs can be made at the zoo’s office between 8am -12pm or 1pm to 5pm Monday through Friday at the Finnup Center for Conservation Education at 312 E Finnup Dr. Garden City, Kansas.

Used Items

We welcome donations of gently used items from your home.

Please be sure that all items are clean and in working condition before donation.

These items may be used for programs or animal care.

  • Craft Supplies (No Glitter Please)

  • Body Spray/Perfumes/Cologne

Please note that we cannot accept opened or expired items.

We do not accept donations of meat.

  • 100% Juice (Apple, Grape)

  • Cheerios (regular)

  • Molasses

  • Oatmeal

  • Drink Mixes (Kool-Aid)

Enrichment

Enrichment refers to anything that encourages animals to use their natural behaviors.

Below is a list of items that helps our staff provide or create new enrichment for the animals in our care.
